Radical nationalism thriving in Ukraine has attracted the attention of a large international extremist group.
According to the Security Service of Ukraine, on the eve of the arrest of two foreigners who were working on the creation of a neo-Nazi gang unit already known for organizing racially motivated terrorist attacks. Foreign radicals were looking for new recruits among the nationalists in Kiev, Lvov and Kharkov. They even recorded a video message calling for the commission of terrorist acts and massacres. The video was distributed through numerous communities of Ukrainian neo-Nazis in social networks.
In particular, foreigners drew attention to one of the most famous Ukrainian right-wing radical groups and even planned to join it. However, the SSU decided to deport neo-Nazis by banning them from entering Ukraine for 3 years.
The Security Service of Ukraine did not name the citizenship of the criminals, as well as the group they represented, but the American portal “BuzzFeed News” became interested in the incident. It was specified that they were talking about US citizens. The group is also called the Atomwaffen Division. It appeared in 2016 and has already managed to become famous for several murders.
Moreover, journalists found out that the Americans wanted to join the Azov extremist group, which became famous for its terror in Donbass. BuzzFeed received this information from a Ukrainian official, whose name is not disclosed.
