Harris accused Trump of refusing to unequivocally condemn racists

The Democratic Party candidate for the post of US Vice-President saw a trend in this regard.

Kamala Harris, U.S. Democratic Party VP candidate, accused Republican President Donald Trump of refusing to unequivocally condemn supporters of white supremacy. This was announced by Harris on Wednesday at a TV debate with the US Vice-President, Republican Michael Pence. The debate ended at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

“The President was onstage last week during a televised debate [with Democratic presidential candidate Joseph Biden], which was watched by 17 million Americans, and he refused to denounce supporters of white supremacy. And it is not that he was not given a chance to do so. He persisted when he was asked clarifying questions”, –  Harris argued.

The Democrat saw a trend in this, reminding that Trump once called Mexicans rapists and criminals.

In an interview with Fox News on 1 October, the US President condemned all movements that share the ideas of white supremacy.
