A COVID-19 outbreak has worsened in the White House – media outlets

The ABC News publication has received internal documents from the administration which state that “34 White House officials and other contact persons are ill”.

In recent days, the coronavirus has been detected in “34 White House officials and other contacts”. This was reported to ABC News on Thursday, October 8, citing internal US Presidential Administration documents.

The documents are dated 7 October and have been distributed to senior management of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Department of Homeland Security division and the agency responsible for national response to the health disaster.

The documents do not specify the full list of names, but they do include both Hope Hicks and Stephen Miller, both of whom recently received positive COVID-19 test results.

According to the channel, this shows that the coronavirus is spreading rapidly among the Trump administration. Recently, 24 infected White House employees and persons in contact with them have been reported.

It should be recalled that Trump did not stick to self-isolation and returned to the Oval Office. The Head of State told the social network about his active work since his return from the hospital.

The media have also calculated the cost of treating Trump for COVID. All amounts have been determined based on the specifics and nuances of the American healthcare system, NYT stressed.
