The Armenian Prime Minister also noted the importance of withdrawing or neutralizing terrorists and mercenaries.
The Armenian Prime Minister believes that a truce in Nagorno-Karabakh is possible if Turkey ceases its direct involvement in the armed conflict and withdraws Middle Eastern terrorists and mercenaries from the war zone. As the press service of the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers reported on Wednesday, Nikol Pashinyan said this in an interview with TIME.
“Armenia notes as a condition of the truce the importance of ending Turkey’s participation in the armed conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, and the withdrawal or neutralisation of terrorists and mercenaries. Pashinyan also stressed that mercenaries in Azerbaijani villages oppress people, rob shops where they sell alcohol, demanding to follow Sharia law”, – the report says.
