Pashinyan believes that the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh has gone beyond the regional boundaries

The Prime Minister of Armenia noted that the resolution of the conflict in Karabakh requires compromises between the two sides.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Wednesday that the conflict with Azerbaijan over Nagorno-Karabakh has gone beyond regional boundaries.

“The situation has already moved beyond the regional framework, I mean the region of the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh”, –  Pashinyan said on the Russian First Channel’s “Time Will Show” programme.

The Armenian Prime Minister also stated that compromises are needed to resolve any conflict, including in Nagorno-Karabakh.

“In any conflict, if we really want to resolve this conflict, compromises are needed. The Armenian side has always been ready for compromises. If Azerbaijan is ready for compromises, it will change the situation,” Pashinyan said.
