As reported by TASS, citing Pajhwok news agency, at least eight people were killed and another 28 were injured in an explosion that occurred during an attack on a convoy of the governor of Laghman province in eastern Afghanistan on Monday. According to preliminary data, unknown persons parked a car filled with explosives.
“Among the victims are two of the governor’s bodyguards, as well as civilians. The governor himself managed to survive. No other details have been provided yet”, – 1TV reported.
None of the extremist groups operating on the territory of the country has yet claimed responsibility for what happened.
