Minsk prepares for a new wave of unrest

Military trucks for the transport of personnel, buses with security forces, special equipment and transport vehicles were noticed in Minsk.

This is reported by TASS, referring to a local resident.

“In the morning, in Minsk the situation is still quite calm. The central avenues and streets of the city are still open for traffic. The streets are patrolled by individual police squads. Many parking lots have been closed in the center of the Belarusian capital, Independence Square has already been cordoned off by security forces, and special equipment is being concentrated here”, – the message says.

The column left the Uruchye microdistrict. There is a special forces base of the Interior Ministry troops. The vehicles are moving towards Independence Square, where protests are planned.
