Belarus withdrew its ambassadors from Lithuania and Poland

In Alexei Pushkov’s opinion, given the position on the internal Belarusian conflict between Vilnius and Warsaw, it would be strange not to do so.

On his tg-channel, the Russian senator commented on the recall of Belarusian ambassadors from two neighbouring countries “that declared political war on Minsk”.

“It would be strange not to do so. Is the same waiting for Riga and Tallinn, which have adopted personal sanctions against Lukashenko? The EU, for its part, has not imposed sanctions on him: they do not want to cut all contacts and finally push Lukashenko towards Moscow. In addition, Lukashenko threatens to break off all relations with them, and this will deprive the EU of its role as an active player in Belarus”, –  Pushkov wrote.
