The Putin and Modi Summit may take place in India when the epidemic situation allows

No confirmed date, said Bala Venkatesh Varma, Ambassador of the Republic in Moscow.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have agreed to hold a summit in India when the epidemic situation allows. This was announced to journalists on Friday by Bala Venkatesh Varma, Ambassador of the Republic in Moscow.

“Our leaders spoke on the phone, including on Modi’s birthday. They agreed to hold the summit in India as soon as sanitary and epidemiological conditions allowed. There is no confirmed date”, –  he said, answering the question of whether the summit will be held in autumn in a face-to-face format.

In July, Prime Minister Maudie said in a telephone conversation with Putin that he was prepared to meet him at the India-Russia summit to be held in India this year.
