The Cabinet of Ministers of the Federal Republic of Germany informed that the meeting will discuss the situation in Belarus.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel will meet with former presidential candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya in Berlin on 6 October. This was announced on Friday in Berlin by the deputy official representative of the German Cabinet of Ministers, Ulrike Demmer.
“On Tuesday, 6 October, the Chancellor will hold a meeting with Svetlana Tikhanovskaya at 15:00. The focus will be on the situation in Belarus, which is emerging after the presidential elections,” she said.
Earlier Merkel herself spoke about the upcoming meeting, only the date remained unknown.
