The Armenian Foreign Ministry welcomes the fact that the heads of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries have strongly condemned the use of force in the conflict zone.
According to TASS, commenting on the statements of the heads of Russia, the United States and France – the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries – the Armenian Foreign Ministry said that Yerevan is ready to start negotiations on a ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh through the OSCE Minsk Group countries.
“We welcome the fact that the Heads of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries have strongly condemned the use of force in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. Armenia is committed to resolving the conflict peacefully. We will continue to strongly reflect the aggression of Azerbaijan, but at the same time we are ready to work with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries towards a ceasefire on the basis of the 1994-1995 agreements”, – it was reported.
Earlier, Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan said that the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan struck the city of Hadrut in Karabakh on Friday from the Smerch multiple launch rocket system.
“Smerch” has just struck the city of Hadrut. There are wounded among the civilian population”, – Hovhannisyan wrote on Facebook.
According to “Re:public of Artsakh” tg-channel, the air defense of Artsakh’s Armed Forces hit the enemy’s plane southward at 12:15, and two drones northward between 12:07 and 12:10.
“On different directions of the front there are fights, alive forces and armored vehicles of the enemy, in particular tanks, are destroyed”, – specified the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
Earlier, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said that the actions of Azerbaijan and Turkey in the conflict zone undermine regional security.
“Joint aggressive actions of Azerbaijan and Turkey, as well as the involvement of foreign fighters-terrorists undermine regional security and peace, significantly increasing the risk of large-scale war”, – the ministry added.
