The new Belgian government headed by Alexander De Croo is sworn in

The government includes 15 ministers and five state secretaries.

The new Belgian Federal Government, headed by Prime Minister Alexandre De Croo, is sworn in on Thursday. This was announced by the national agency Belga.

“The new Prime Minister, Aleskander De Croo, took the oath of office to King [Philip of Belgium]”, –  the agency reported.

The new governing coalition includes seven parties from all political directions, from socialists to liberals, 15 ministers and five secretaries of state, and the former prime minister of the outgoing technical cabinet, Sophie Wilmes, has been appointed head of the Foreign Ministry.
