German Chancellor Angela Merkel wants to meet with the so-called leader of the Belarusian opposition, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya.
She said this in a conversation with RFI.
According to Tikhanovskaya, the meeting is scheduled for next week.
“Next week we have a meeting planned with Angela Merkel. With Angela Merkel’s office. We also have a number of other meetings in Europe. Some will be held online, some in person. But they are very important for the peaceful resolution of our issue”, – she said.
