In Serbia, the EU has been accused of failing to enforce the Brussels Agreements

According to Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić, Kosovars intentionally do not comply with the agreement signed in Washington on September 4, hoping that Biden will win the US elections and will not have to fulfill their obligations.

According to TASS, on the air of the national television RTS, First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Serbia Ivica Dačić accused the European Union of failing to enforce the Brussels agreements signed by Belgrade and Pristina.

“If coronavirus has caused the cancellation of negotiations now, what was the reason for postponing the establishment of the Community of Serbian Municipalities over the past seven years? Apart from Tachi and me, this was signed by Catherine Ashton. The European Union must say whether his signature has any value. They are constantly playing a deaf and mute mediator for these talks who has no power to punch the table with his fist. But without that, Pristina is definitely not going to fulfill the agreement they signed, they are already looking to get around the Washington agreement”-said Dacic.

According to Dačić, Kosovars intentionally do not comply with the agreement signed in Washington on 4 September to normalize economic relations with Belgrade, hoping that Biden will win the US elections and they will not have to fulfill their obligations.

According to the Brussels agreements on the normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina, signed on 19 April 2013, the Community of Serbian Municipalities, the self-governing body of Serbs living in the unrecognised republic, is to be established in Kosovo. Vucic has repeatedly stated that his country has fulfilled its part of the Brussels agreements, while the Kosovars have just started drafting the constitution of the SSM and then suspended the process.
