Armenian Ambassador accuses Turkey of transferring fighters from Syria to Karabakh

Turkey involved militants from Syria in the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, they were transferred to Azerbaijan, Armenian Ambassador to Russia Vardan Toganyan said.

“According to our information, recently about 4,000 militants have been deployed by Turkey from Syria to Azerbaijan. They are already participating on the other side… They are trained in militant camps and are being transferred there”, – Toganyan told RIA Novosti.

He noted that it is difficult to determine the ethnic composition of the militants. The ambassador stressed that they are already participating in hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh.
