Putin and Pashinyan discussed the aggravation of the situation in Karabakh

Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. This was reported by the Kremlin press service. The conversation took place at the initiative of the Armenian side.

During the conversation, the parties discussed a sharp exacerbation of the situation in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

“The Russian side expressed serious concern over the resumption of large-scale armed clashes. It was noted that now it is important to take all the necessary efforts to prevent further escalation of the confrontation, and most importantly, it is necessary to stop military operations, ” the message says.
