The UK has partnered with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the British charity Wellcome Trust to develop an international action plan to prevent new pandemics. This is reported by TASS with reference to the office of Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
They said that the plan consists of five points.
The program proposes to expand capacities for the production of drugs and vaccines, expand international cooperation and exchange of information in the field of health.
It is also proposed to reduce the number of trade barriers, which, according to London, are now making it difficult to resist the coronavirus pandemic.
In addition, the plan envisages the creation of a network of centers for the study of zoonoses around the world – infectious diseases found among animals that are potentially dangerous to humans.
