In Ukraine, the unemployment rate increased even more in the second quarter, by 1.3% to 9.9%.
This was reported by the State Statistics Service.
Now 1.7 million Ukrainians are considered unemployed.
Thus, the macroeconomic forecast is not especially optimistic. In the next three years the level of unemployment will not decrease especially. And taking into account that the data is greatly embellished, it will increase significantly. Moreover, the pandemic in Ukraine is not retreating, and Kiev is clearly hiding the real picture. It is safe to say that there are more unemployed than the State Statistics Service recognizes.
