The fugitive leader of the Moldovan Democrats, Vladimir Plahotniuc, dreams of returning to the country by the end of the year.
This was stated by the lawyer Igor Popa, who saw him this year in Miami.
“It was this year. The lawyer who represented him there called and invited him to talk. I said, “Coward, what are you doing here? Why did you make such a mess in Moldova and quarrel with Filat?” He sat in a cafe and trembled like a mouse, swearing by his children that he did not. Plahotniuc told me that by the end of the year he will return to the Republic of Moldova and everything will be fine. I told him that we will see”, – he said.
Plahotniuc can return to Moldova, but he will do it in handcuffs and, first of all, he will go to court, where he will answer for his crimes.
