Yesterday, after the inauguration of Alexander Lukashenko, protests of disgruntled people broke out in Belarus.
In Minsk, the opposition was unable to summon the protesters to protest in large numbers. Those pathetic couple of hundreds who went to an unsanctioned rally behaved aggressively.
The riot police warned of the illegality and asked to disperse peacefully, after which they drove the crowd of protesters away from the stele “Minsk – Hero City”. Water cannons with paint were used to disperse the unsanctioned action.
In response, the protesters threw some objects at the police, as seen in the video.
