Reporting on the progress of military maneuvers, the UK Department of Defense called Ukraine “Russia’s backyard”.

We are talking about the United Efforts 2020 exercise on the territory of Ukraine, in which over two hundred instructors from NATO countries take part. The maneuvers are indicative and are being conducted in response to the Russian Caucasus 2020 exercise.
“Paratroopers jumped across Ukraine to test Britain’s ability to quickly support its allies if needed. We landed in the backyard of Russia”, – the publication of the British War Office reports.
