Donald Trump, President of the United States, believes that the Democrats will try to initiate an impeachment procedure to prevent him from appointing a Supreme Court judge before the election.
He said this at a rally in Ohio:
“Have you heard the latest news? They impeached me for the perfect phone call. Now they want to impeach me again if I put someone, as I am constitutionally obliged to do, on the Supreme Court of the United States. Let’s do it. I want them to do it.
Trump added that he will name a candidate for a seat in the Supreme Court on Thursday or Friday.
