This was announced on Tuesday by the Telegram Channel of Tikhanovskaya “Pool First”.

“Svetlana Tikhanovskaya has agreed that Belarus will receive a package of assistance after the democratic changes”, –  the report says.

According to the opposition, students, journalists, physicians and human rights activists will be able to count on the help of European countries “repressed by the regime.”

On Monday, Tikhanovskaya spoke at an extraordinary session of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament dedicated to the situation in Belarus. She accused President Alexander Lukashenko of unwillingness to engage in dialogue with the opposition and proposed sanctions against Belarusian officials whom she had listed as “responsible for violence in the country”. She also took part in a breakfast with EU foreign ministers, which took place before the EU Council meeting at the level of foreign ministers.
