Washington dreamed up new terms for nuclear deal with Russia

The American side has put forward new conditions regarding the nuclear deal with Russia. They were voiced by US President Donald Trump’s special envoy for arms control Marshall Billingsley.

The Russian side offered to conclude an agreement for five years, but the Americans are against it. They want the deal to have a shorter expiration date.

In addition, ballistic missile launchers may start operating in the United States as early as 2021, unless a new agreement is signed.
