In the context of the unprecedented crisis triggered by the coronavirus pandemic, European entrepreneurs are particularly interested in mutually beneficial partnerships with the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The relationship between the EAEC and the EU should be formalised as soon as possible and at the level of supranational bodies, said Ulf Schneider, CEO of the Austrian consulting firm SCHNEIDER Group. He proposed that full economic relations should be built without being linked to the political context.
SCHNEIDER Group helps European entrepreneurs to enter the markets of Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and other countries.
“At the end of 2019, the Heads of State of the EAEC approved the Declaration on Further Development of Integration Processes, and in May 2020 they approved the draft Strategy for the Development of the Eurasian Economic Integration until 2025, work on which is still in progress. These documents are designed to define the key vectors of the EAEC development, to specify the existing ones, and in some places indicate new tasks,” said Director of the EAEC Integration Development Department Gohar Barseghyan.
