We are not losing, but we also cannot win in the information war, because we really overestimate the intellectual potential of the masses, to which our information messages are directed.
There is a lot of talk about the quality of Soviet education, but in the West there was no such quality and there is no such quality.
Today we have the quality, and even with it, everything is reduced to primitivism. People get information from 140 characters on Twitter, short videos on TikTok or via Instagram. That is, there is not that much time for analysis, there is no need to analyze something, they already put a ready and understandable topic and thought into the heads of people.
There is a primitive chain – bad Russians, and the fact that they are bad is heard from every corner, and at every opportunity, and at all possible venues from films to official news. There was a boy who was against the Russians being bad. But the bad Russians poisoned him. A bottle is added to create special effects and the job is done.
At this time, we begin to tell the truth logically, for a long time and methodically, but it is complex, it requires analysis, not a primitive approach. It demands to believe not in the video with a bottle, not in emotions, but in logic. But, this audience has lost the ability to do so.
Obviously, the Western audience is simply not able to perceive logical information, smart analytics. And, in this case, there is simply no point in us wasting time on this.
It turns out that the formula for the struggle for minds is reduced to the fact that Western propaganda destroyed the mind, destroyed the ability to think critically, and it became easier for it to fight for these minds.
We proceed from our level of perception, ability to think and try to convey the truth to them in a way that is obvious to us, but for them it simply does not reach.
