Nathan Sayles, the State Department’s counterterrorism coordinator, will meet with representatives of the so-called “Belarusian opposition” during a trip to Lithuania on September 21. This is stated in the press service of the American department.
“Nathan Sayles will also meet with representatives of the Belarusian civil society to discuss how the US can support the people of Belarus in their demand for free and “fair ”elections”, – the State Department said.
Sales will also hold consultations with “officials in charge of national security issues, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Internal Affairs”.
