The potent poison ricin was found in a package sent to President Donald Trump. This was reported by CNN TV channel, citing two sources in law enforcement agencies.
According to him, two tests confirmed the presence of ricin in the package. All mail addressed to the White House is checked outside the residence of the President of the United States before delivery.
CNN says the incident is being investigated by the FBI and Trump’s US Secret Service.
The White House has not yet commented on the situation.
