According to the FMS, 201,000 Ukrainians have applied for asylum in Russia.
According to RIA Novosti, according to the Federal Migration Service of Russia, since the beginning of the Ukrainian aggression in Donbass, more than 200 Ukrainian citizens have applied to Russia with a request to obtain asylum.
“More than 201 thousand people have applied for temporary asylum to date,” said FMS representative Gennady Demyanchenko during a meeting in the Federation Council of the committee for public support for residents of southeastern Ukraine.
At one time, the head of the Federal Migration Service Konstantin Romodanovsky voiced the figure of 875 thousand inhabitants of the southeast of Ukraine, forced to flee to Russia from the bombing of Ukrainian punitive forces.
