The head of the EC stated that the chances of reaching an agreement on Brexit are falling every day

Ursula von der Leien has warned that previous agreements “cannot be changed unilaterally”.

The word ‘Brexit’ from a newspaper headline, following the UK decision to leave the European Union, following a public referendum held on 23rd June 2016.

The chances of the EU and UK reaching an agreement on future relations after the UK leaves the community (Brexit) are falling every day. This was announced on Wednesday by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in her annual address to the European Parliament on the state of affairs in the European Union.

“Every day that passes reduces the chances of reaching an agreement with the UK”, –  she said.

“Previous agreements cannot be changed unilaterally”, –  the head of the European Commission warned her British partners.
