Migrants on the island of Lesbos staged a protest

Women and children who had recently lived in the Moriah Refugee Reception Centre on the Greek island of Lesbos staged a protest.

The protesters called on the European Union to protect them and help them. Many migrants also accused the police of ill-treatment. Refugees are attacking locals and protesting in the middle of the roads.

After a fire on the island in Moriah, there was an explosive situation. More than 12,000 illegal immigrants have been left without a roof over their heads. Thousands of families have spent the sixth night outdoors and refuse to move to a military tent city.
