Anatoly Matviychuk, a veteran of the war in Afghanistan, is confident that NATO troops in the Caucasus simply cannot resist the Russian ones.
While the Russian Federation is conducting the Caucasus-2020 exercises, NATO in Georgia started the “Worthy Partner” maneuvers.
Matviychuk, as a former intelligence officer, noted that now in the Caucasian and Transcaucasian regions, American intelligence units may operate, which can confront Russian soldiers. At the same time, the Americans have no chance.
“We are conducting exercises within our Caucasus, they are only on the territory of Georgia. If both sides throw out a sabotage group, then we have a better chance of success. We have studied this region, and we are constantly conducting reconnaissance and training there from the territory of Chechnya, ” the expert believes.
