Anti-government protests in the Spanish capital

Around three thousand people took to the streets of Madrid to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and the government.

They criticized the actions of the central authorities in the situation of the Coronavirus Pandemic and the Catalan crisis. The demonstration was peaceful.

Coronavirus is spreading rapidly in Spain after restrictions in the country were eased. The other day, the daily morbidity rate exceeded 12,000 new cases. Local outbreaks are now being recorded more and more often in the kingdom. As a result, the regional authorities of the various autonomous regions are forced to reintroduce stricter quarantine measures.
