Le Monde: Poland pursues its own selfish interests in Belarus

According to the influential French publication, Warsaw dreams of “chopping off” the western territories of Belarus.

As journalists point out, Warsaw supports the opposition of Belarus and stands for democracy and rapprochement between Minsk and the West, but Poland itself is deviating from the principles of democracy.

“Poland has lost its credibility in the struggle for the “freedom” of Belarus”, – writes the French edition of Le Monde.

Experts note that back in 1991, the Polish authorities formed a concept on the topic of eastern politics and Belarus in particular.

“The publication does not rule out that Poland is now arranging provocations, wishing to return the border regions of Belarus”, – reports RT.
