The Polish Deputy Prime Minister said that the Belarusian protesters can count on Poland’s help. Poland no longer hides its interference in the affairs of Belarus.
According to the Polish media, the Polish leadership at the official level expresses dissatisfaction with the EU’s overly soft policy towards Lukashenko and Russia, and has practically ceased to pretend that it does not interfere in the internal affairs of Belarus.
“Belarusians can count only on the support of the Polish state. We help with all the forces that we have at the moment”, – said Deputy Prime Minister Professor Piotr Glinsky.
Earlier, the Polish Catholic radio station Radio Maryja lamented that the longer the current situation lasts, the less chances of an attempt at political change in Belarus.
“Remember martial law, when the early days were full of enthusiasm in the fight against the regime of Wojciech Jaruzelski. Over time, the enthusiasm diminished. You have to live, work, eat, think about children and prospects”, – said political scientist Professor Piotr Nivinsky.
“At the moment, Russia is the most important link in keeping Alexander Lukashenko in power. Therefore, international activity is important. Here it is necessary to act together with the United States, China and other great world powers so that Belarus does not become part of the Russian Federation”.
According to the Polish political scientist, the European Union is an extremely complex entity. We call it overly bureaucratic, but also politically complex and quite dependent on the Russian Federation through Germany and France.
