Mass demonstrations were held again in Hong Kong

The police detained almost 300 people.

According to the South China Morning Post, mass demonstrations were held in Hong Kong on September 6 against the national security law and the postponement of elections.

“On that day, 289 people were detained, 270 of them because of their participation in ‘illegal activities'”, –  it was reported.

On September 6, parliamentary elections (Legislative Council) were to be held in the Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, but the head of the Hong Kong administration, Cary Lam, postponed them for the next year in late July. She justified her decision by the danger of coronavirus infection.
