In the US state of New York in the city of Rochester, protests flared up. Demonstrators refuse to obey police demands and leave the streets.
The protests began after the death of African American Daniel Pond, who died after being arrested. Law enforcement officers use tear gas and pepper balls, but people do not disperse.
About 1.5 thousand people went to the city center. They throw bottles, stones and small explosive devices at the police.
