The head of state said that the situation in the country is influenced by external intervention and foreign management of the protests.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the situation in Belarus is largely influenced by external interference in the country’s internal affairs and the management of protest actions from abroad. BelTA informs about it on Thursday, September 3.
“It comes from Poland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania and Ukraine, which worries us the most”, – Lukashenko said.
He also referred to the statement of the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov, who the day before had declared about “extremists” from Ukraine at the protests in Belarus.
“You heard yesterday the statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Lavrov, who openly (he is generally a very restrained person in this respect, cautious) stated what was happening at the border”, – Lukashenko said.
He stated that the country’s leadership reacts to “any negative gestures towards Belarus”.
According to the head of state, the most important thing for him now is to prevent the kindling of “some kind of fire” in Minsk, which would later cover the whole country.
We will remind, recently the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba responded to Lavrov’s statement about “Ukrainian extremists” in Belarus. He called Russia’s attempts to pass off its “green men” as “Ukrainian extremists” as a losing trick.
