German Chancellor Angela Merkel promised that the project “Nord Stream 2” will be completed despite the threats of sanctions from three U.S. senators against the port operator of the German city of Sassnitz.
Merkel spoke out against sanctions during a visit to Stralsund.
“The German government intends to complete the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline despite the resistance of the United States”, – she said.
