On the streets of Podgorica, there was a clash between supporters of the ruling party and the opposition.
As previously reported by News Front, parliamentary elections were held in Montenegro. According to the results of processing 100% of ballots, 35.06% of the votes were won by the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists. This is only 2.51% more than the opposition party For the Future of Montenegro. In addition, another opposition party, Peace is Our Nation, received 12.53% of support. They are expected to form a parliamentary coalition and form a government, dismissing infamous head of state Milo Djukanovic.
The prospect of the fall of the thirty-year regime in recent days is causing clashes. The day before in the city of Niksic, against the background of the parliamentary elections, a car drove into a crowd of opposition supporters.
It also became known about a mass brawl in the Montenegrin capital between supporters of the ruling party and the opposition. Participants used stones and bottles. The police had to separate them. Several people were injured as a result of the incident.
