The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, announced the creation of a special department that will carry out reforms in the republic.
He spoke about this on Tuesday, September 1, addressing the parliament.
According to the head of state, Kazakhstan needs deep changes in the public sector and economy. In this regard, the authorities will create an agency for strategic planning and reforms. The structure will report directly to the president.
“Reforms must be carried out systematically. Change approaches to public administration, decision-making system. In a pandemic, the current system of public administration operates at maximum speed, but in no case should the distant horizon be missed, ” Tokayev said.
