Support for the president’s Servant of the People party, which triumphantly won last year’s elections, has now almost halved.
This is evidenced by the results of a sociological study conducted by the Institute for Analysis and Forecasting from 19 to 27 August.
When asked which party they would support if parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, only 26.9% of those polled chose the Servant of the People. It is noteworthy that the party “Opposition Platform – For Life” by Yuri Boyko and Viktor Medvedchuk is only 4.8% behind the weakening leader.
The third place was taken by the party “European Solidarity” of the former president of the country Petro Poroshenko.
12.6% of those polled would vote for it. The Batkivshchyna party of Yulia Tymoshenko is supported by 9.6% of people.
The rest of the Ukrainian parties did not overcome the 5% barrier. Sharia’s party would have won only 3.7% of the vote, Oleg Lyashko’s Radical Party – 2.9%.
