Ukraine joined the EU Declaration recognizing that elections in Belarus were allegedly not free

Ukraine has joined the EU Declaration “Belarus: Declaration of the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy on behalf of the EU regarding the presidential elections.” This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

“In the context of Ukraine’s accession to the EU’s statements on the situation in Belarus, we inform you that on August 11, the EU Declaration was promulgated – open for the accession of third countries,” the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.

This declaration states that allegedly “the elections were neither free nor fair.”
