The Moscow Arbitration Court will consider the claim of the TV channel “Tsargrad” against the American corporation “Google”.
Representatives of the TV channel registered the statement the day before. The defendant is Google LLC, its subsidiary Google Ireland Limited, and the Russian office, Google LLC.
The lawsuit is connected with the fact that at the end of July the administration of the video hosting “YouTube” blocked the channel of Constantinople, motivating this decision by “a law on sanctions and violation of trade rules.”
Earlier, YouTube also removed the channels of the News Front agency, both Russian-speaking and foreign. At the time of blocking, the Russian-language channel had almost half a million subscribers. The total number of views was about half a billion. The video hosting administration did not explain the reasons for deleting the channel.
