Chinese army expelled US destroyer from its territorial waters

The Chinese army says it has escorted a US Navy ship that has invaded PRC territorial waters near a military exercise in the South China Sea. It is reported by the Global Times newspaper.

Colonel Li Huamin, a spokesman for the People’s Liberation Army of China, said that the American missile destroyer Mustin violated the border of China’s territorial waters in the Paracel Islands. According to him, the command of the southern theater of the PLA used air and naval means to “detect, identify and warn of the need to leave the area.”
