Even the Baltic countries are against Ukraine’s accession to the European Union. This is due to the fact that the West is constantly cutting aid to Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko said this. So he commented on the recent statement of Volodymyr Zelensky that not all EU members want to see Ukraine in their ranks.
“If Ukraine joins the EU, then all these miserable rogues from Eastern Europe will have to squeeze their appetites, because everything else will go there,” he said.
The Baltics may cease to be the main target of European charity. Instead, Brussels could focus on a crumbling Ukraine.
In addition, before joining the EU, many countries dreamed of how the economy would suddenly grow to the level of Western European ones, but the miracle did not happen.
