Ukrainian Foreign Minister meets new head of Polish Foreign Ministry

Dmitry Kuleba congratulated his Polish colleague on his appointment and invited him to visit Ukraine.


According to Ukrainska Pravda, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Zbigniew Rau had their first telephone conversation.

“The new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland expressed his confidence in the future fruitful cooperation for the successful development of Ukrainian-Polish relations. He stressed that the conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart was one of his first telephone conversations, which indicates the importance of relations between the two states”, – the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.

It is noted that the ministers reaffirmed the importance of cooperation between Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania within the framework of the “Lublin Triangle” and its strengthening as an important regional format of interaction.
