Michael Pence officially accepted Donald Trump’s offer. However, it could not have been any other way.
Michael Pence officially agreed to participate in the elections as a candidate for the post of vice president of the ruling Republican Party.
“With appreciation for the trust placed in me by President Trump, with the support of our Republican Party and by the grace of God, I humbly accept your decision to nominate me to run for Vice President of the United States and serve in that position”, – Pence said.
On August 24, the Republican Party nominated Trump and Pence as its presidential and vice presidential candidates in the November elections. Trump will give his formal consent on Thursday to represent single parties in the current elections. This will be the end of the Congress of Republicans.
