Ukrainians need to understand whether the European Union intends to admit the country to its membership at all.
This statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview for Euronews.
“When the Ukrainians get this answer, they will say how long it will take, whether they can do it and when. We need a clear understanding that we all want it now. About whether Europe wants us, whether we want to be with Europe”, – he said.
At the same time, the president emphasizes that Ukraine should become a country that the EU countries would like to see in the commonwealth.
