Anti-government protests continue in Libya

Protests for the resignation of the Government of National Reconciliation (GNC), led by Prime Minister Faiza Sarrage, gathered several thousand people in the Libyan capital of Tripoli, August 25, reported the portal Al Marsad.

Those gathered in the streets are dissatisfied with impoverishment and corruption. Demonstrations are held in the city for the third consecutive day.
Earlier, Faiz Sarrage spoke on television and promised his fellow citizens to urgently reshuffle the government, as well as to find and condemn the corrupt officials.
